I was reading Slash’s biography when I run into this quote:

… in my mind it was simple: If we focused on nothing but surmounting the nearest obstacle, we’d make our way from point A to point C, in no time, no matter how great the distance.

It is very comforting to see someone who you admire say something you keep saying all the time.
